Nestled between the rugged mountains and wild fynbos fields of the Western Cape, the Overberg Honey Co. began as a family passion project in the outskirts of Cape Town. Three generations ago, it started with a single beekeeper, Oupa Willem, who kept bees not for business, but for love. His hives stood in the heart of nature, where the bees could forage on indigenous flowers — from proteas to wild rosemary — creating a honey unlike anything else in the world.

Over time, that small apiary grew. Today, Overberg Honey Co. is still run by the same family, committed to keeping their process as pure as the honey itself. They practice ethical beekeeping, ensuring the bees are never over-harvested and always have enough food to thrive through the seasons.

This Choice Grade 100% South African Honey is harvested in small batches, gently strained to preserve every golden note of flavor. The stick-pack design was inspired by the family’s own hiking trips along the Cape’s mountain trails — they wanted to make honey as portable and pure as the land it comes from.
